"The Kid in my Closet"

Linda Meyer, a bass with Voices Northwest in Snohomish, WA, has recently written a children's book called The Kid In My Closet. In a twist on the old children's fear, it is about a little boy monster who, upon going to bed one night, is scared out of his wits by The Kid in My Closet. It has vivid pictures by Miranda Roberts, an illustrator who paints on silk, and kids have fun looking for the gecko hiding in each frame. By the end of the book, Jonster the Monster discovers that you can still be friends and it doesn't really matter what you look like. A great gift for kids age 4-9. If you'd like to place a want ad, send an email to the webmistress with the following information:

In search of a part:

bullet Your quartet and the part you are looking to fill
bullet A contact person with a phone and/or email address
bullet Your general location
bullet Any restrictions or requirements, such as non-competing, weekend rehearsals only, etc. 

In search of a quartet:

bullet Your name and the part you sing
bullet Your phone number and/or email address
bullet Your general location and how far you're willing to travel
bullet Any restrictions or requirements, such as non-competing, weekend rehearsals only, etc.

Director search, costumes for sale, etc:

bullet All pertinent information.
bullet A contact name, phone number and/or email address.
bullet A photo of your item, if applicable, is mighty helpful! Contact the webmistress if you need assistance.

Miscellaneous:

bullet Ads must be barbershop or music-related.
bullet We accept ads from other regions, choruses and/or quartets outside of Region 13 on an individual basis.
bullet We reserve the right to refuse any ads, and/or to edit for clarity and brevity.
