Our 2017 SET is planned for August 10-13 in Vancouver, WA, and our special guest faculty is Bling!, the 2015 SAI Quartet Champions. For an overview of what's going on that weekend, take a look below. Please note that our schedule is not yet set in stone, so check back often for updates.

Thursday, August 10:

  • Quartet coaching and PVIs: depending on available regional faculty and those attendees able to come in Thursday afternoon.
  • A reception Thursday night with an open bar and snacks. Singing encouraged!
  • A repeat from 2016, our SET song will once again be One Song At a Time. You can find music on the Members Only site, under My Music.

Friday, August 11:

  • Sign-up quickly if you’d like a PVI or Quartet Coaching. Spaces are limited.
  • Friday meals are NOT included in your registration fee.  However, there are many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

This year we will also offer specific education tracks:

  • General Membership Track
  • Administrative Leaders Track
  • Directors / Musical Leaders Track
  • Quartet Track
  • Visual Leaders Track

Other Friday options include:

  • Late Friday afternoon: Coaching Under Glass with Bling!

  • Awards and Recognition of International-bound groups

Saturday, August 12:

  • Saturday: Dinner will be included with your registration
  • Saturday evening: Novice and VLQ Extravaganza! Back by popular demand, we are having a Novice and VLQ extravaganza, Saturday evening before our "Champs Show"! Half of the group performing must be quartet competition novices (ie: never sung at a regional/international competition contest). Learn a song, figure out a snappy get-up and join in the fun! Contact Elizabeth Davies to sign-up.
  • SET Show, featuring our international-bound groups and Bling!
  • Open Bar / Party / Singing

Sunday, August 13:

  • Bonus Quartet Workshop! 9:00am to noon. Established quartets and anyone curious about quarteting are encouraged to attend.
  • Quartet coaching will be done by regional faculty, according to their availability and quartet interest level
