Are you ready to get CRAZY!?! This summer the energy will be high as International Faculty member and Master Diretor Dale Syverson visits Region 13 and Summer Enrichment Time (SET).
Never heard of Dale Syverson? Well... Master Director Dale Syverson is the heart and soul of the Rich-Tone Chorus; she became their director in 1976 and has seen the chorus grow from 18 members to over 150. Like Rembrandt or Picasso, Dale is a master artist who paints music with her hands. Dale’s creative and musical expertise comes from over 40 years of training and directing experience in the Sweet Adelines organization. She travels the world coaching quartets and choruses, and educating members through her continual participation in workshops, seminars and music schools.
With over 43 years as a Sweet Adeline, Dale has garnered an impressive list of achievements. Here are a few of her many honors:
- Master Director | Master '700' Director
- Rich-Tone Chorus Director (1976 to present
- Certified Expression Judge; Approved Candidate - Sound Judge
- International and Regional Faculty Member
- Appointed to serve on the SAI Education Direction Committee
- Elected to SAI International Board of Directors
- Recipient of the 2004 SAI President's Lifetime Achievement Award
- 5-time international gold medal winning chorus director
- 2-time international gold medal winning quartet singer (Tiffanys, 1973 and Rumors, 1999)
Dale will be available to work with SET participants all day Friday (including a director track), Saturday, and Sunday morning.

2011 Summer Enrichment Training (SET) took place August 4-7,2011 in Pasco, WA, with the outstanding Darlene Rogers as our International Faculty. The theme was “Master Challenge” and classes were offered by both Darlene and our regional faculty which were designed to stretch the barbershop knowledge of all members...no matter how long someone has been in Sweet Adelines. Reports from attendees said this was one of the best SETs ever!
