Director/Faculty/Music Leaders Workshop

Bev Miller will be facilitating this year’s Region #13 Director/ Faculty/Musical Leaders Workshop on June 20-21, 2008 at the SeaTac (WA) Marriott Hotel. The workshop is open to Directors, Assistant/Associate Directors, DCP members, Regional Faculty, Section Leaders, Assistant Section Leaders, Choreographers, and Choreography Team Members!

The workshop will begin on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 6:30 pm and continue through Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 5:00 pm. Class topics will include Building a musical team within a structure  that works for your chorus; PVI structure and practice; audits, taping and musical accountability; and, working together with administration and the director...and more! A Saturday evening reception will also be held starting at 7:00 pm, to give you time to socialize and network. For a complete schedule, click here.

Bev is a Certified International Faculty member, the Master Director of the 2008 12th Place Capital City Chorus, has been on the Board of the Young Singers Foundation, and is a past International President. She has shared her administrative and music skills throughout the United States, as well as Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. And she's a baritone!

The cost of the workshop is $20 for Front Line Directors and $45 for all other participants. Registration forms are available here; REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 18. Also on the Registration form is information about lodging at the SeaTac Marriott. Those reservations must be made directly with the hotel; the deadline is June 11.
