Welcome!
North by Northwest Region 13 is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. We are one of 24 regions in Sweet Adelines International, and our particular region covers 28 choruses and over 45 quartets located throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. You can see where we all are by clicking to see our regional map!
Feel free to explore our site! Whether you wish to find a chorus to visit, want to hire a quartet for a celebration, plan to attend a show or workshop, or just enjoy some photos and videos, it's all here.
And thanks for visiting!

COVID-19 Information
As cities, states, regions, and countries are moving toward fewer/no restrictions related to COVID-19, many of our region’s choruses and quartets are returning to in-person rehearsals and performances. It is important to remember that choral singing is still considered a high-risk activity, although as more members become vaccinated, the risk decreases. The safety and good health of our members remains a top priority for Region 13 and Sweet Adelines International. We urge each chorus and quartet to be knowledgeable regarding state and local guidelines for in-person gatherings. These include the size of gatherings allowed, whether meetings are indoors/outdoors, if masks are required for all participants, if vaccinated participants do not have to wear a mask, physical distancing, ventilation and any other precautions required. Be prepared to put mitigation practices in place to avoid risk and protect your members. You may feel more comfortable if your members sign a waiver and release of liability prior to returning to in-person singing. The first link below will take you to a sample agreement provided by Sweet Adelines International.
