CANCELLED: 2020 Region 13 Arrangers WorkShop at HCNW - Jun 11, 2020

The most current information for the 2020 Region 13 Arrangers WorkShop at HCNW is now available at harmonycollege.org. Registration for the workshop is set to open March 15th, 2020, and returning faculty are Mike Menefee, Chuck Roegiers and Janice Wheeler.

By student request, we will be spending most of our first day arranging the new Project Song (an uptune recommended to us by superstar arranger Robert Rund), and once your registration is received, a copy of the sheet music will be sent to you. All of the Thursday afternoon sessions and half of the Thursday evening sessions will be devoted to arranging the Project Song in your choice of groups: Beginning and Less Experienced Arrangers with Janice Wheeler, or More Advanced Arrangers with Chuck Roegiers. Then on Friday morning, both groups will share their results with the rest of the attendees.

Thursday evening following dinner, Mike Menefee and Chuck Roegiers are teaming up for a presentation, "Arranging for Different Ensembles," which is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

During Friday morning's Tin Pan Alley session, the Grand Prize Winner of the 2019-2020 Tag Writing Contest will present the winning tag and invite everyone to sing along. In the afternoon, private arrangment review sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who have personal arranging work they would like to discuss with our faculty members.
